Brief Introduction of Hazrat Imam Hussain in Urdu

The grandson of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa, the majestic son of Hazrat Syedna Ali and Hazrat Sayyidatuna Fatima, his Royal Highness Syedna Imam Hussain was miraculous. Even his blessed birth is a great wonder. Sayyidi Arif Billah Nooruddin Abdur Rahman Jami has stated in Shawahid-un-Nubuwwah: Syedna Imam Hussain was born on 5th of Shaban on Tuesday in 4 AH in Madina-tul-Munawwarah. It is narrated that Syedna Imam Hussain was given birth after a pregnancy period of just six months. Other than Holy Prophet Hazrat Syedna Yahya and Imam Hussain, no child having birth after pregnancy period of only six months could survive. Refulgent countenance Allama Jami has further stated, Whenever Imam Hussain would stay in the dark, his environs would become illuminated by the refulgent beams radiating from his blessed forehead and cheeks. (Shawahid-un-Nubuwwah, pp. 228)

Hazrat Syed Muhammad Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki

Hazrat Syed Muhammad Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki was born in 569 in a small town called Osh (alternatively Awsh or Ush) in the Fergana Valley (present Osh in southern Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan), part of historic Transoxania). According to his biography mentioned in, Ain-i-Akbari, written in the 16th century by Mughal Emperor Akbar’s vizier, Abul Fazl ibn Mubarak, he was the son of Kamaluddin Musa, whom he lost at the young age of a year and a half.

The original name of Hazrat Khwaja Muhammad Qutbuddin Bakhtiyar Kaki was Bakhtiyar and later on he was given the title Qutbuddin. He was a descendent of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad, descending through Hazrat Imam Hussain ibn Ali. His mother, who herself was an educated lady, arranged for his education by Shaikh Abu Hifs.

When Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti passed through Aush during his travels, Hazrat Khwaja Bakhtiyar took the oath of allegiance at his hands and received the khilafat and Khirqah from him. Thus, he was the first spiritual successor of Hazrat Syed Moinuddin Chishti.
